Let's talk about it...
Parenting is a hard job that comes with no training. Playing Together Being Together is offering a monthly parent support group/book club to give parents/caregivers a place to come together to vent, ask questions, and be validated. Each month we will cover one chapter from the book "Easy to Love, Difficult to Discipline" by Becky Bailey. (Please note, reading the book is not necessary to participate. The book club is just a good excuse to gather together in an environment where you can feel safe to say "I'm a parent and this is hard." Although it is a great resource to have in your hands.) Join us at the Warwick Valley Community Center - 11 Hamilton Ave, Warwick, NY 10990 the third Wednesday of every month from 7:30pm - 9:00pm |
The meetings will be run by Melissa Reali. Melissa, MS Ed, owner of Playing Together Being Together, is a NY State certified educator, former school director, and mom. For 20 years now, Melissa has worked with children ranging in age from birth - 12th grade. During this time she has supported children, parents, and teachers, helping them navigate the tough social-emotional situations that arise.
